Bertie’s Wee Miracle
For all the places in the world where Bertie paraded his sublime skills, he never made it to the town of Lourdes in France.

The organisation exists to carry on the tireless and dedicated work of the sporting legend Bertie Auld to help the disadvantaged people of Glasgow, Scotland, Ireland, and across the UK. Its mission is to help vulnerable and disadvantaged people to live a more comfortable, enjoyable life and to give them the support they need to do that.
The organisation’s purposes are: The prevention or relief of poverty, the relief of those in need by reason of age, ill health, disability, financial hardship or any other disadvantage.

The vision of our charity is to help as many disadvantaged people and organisations as we possibly can through fundraising in the name of Bertie Auld.
We want to be able to help disadvantaged people live more comfortably and encourage the youth to realise their dreams and passions with all the support that we can possibly give them.

For all the places in the world where Bertie paraded his sublime skills, he never made it to the town of Lourdes in France.

Lovely piece from Declan McConville on the Celts Are Here website. Today marks one year since the passing of Celtic legend and Lisbon Lion, Bertie Auld.

Nephew, Ian Cairns, friend Lord Willie Haughey, and former teammate Jim Craig spoke at his service.
“ONCE A CELT,
YER ALWAYS A CELT.”
